How to measure: Hand circumference: wrap the tape around the palm at the knuckles, just below the finger joints, without the thumb. Hand length: measure from the tip of your middle finger to the base of your palm. If you are between sizes in leather or motorcycle gloves, the larger size is usually more comfortable.

Racing glove feel without the full length cuff
On a sport bike, roadster or supermoto, a full length racing cuff can feel like more glove than your riding needs. The SF1 EVO gives you the close feel and layered protection of FIVE’s racing gloves in a short cuff, with less material around your jacket sleeve and easier wrist movement.
A SyntechSkin upper gives the back of the hand structure and abrasion resistance without the bulk of an all leather shell, and the full grain goatskin palm keeps lever and throttle feel direct. The slim fit keeps the glove close to your hand, while the knuckles, palm, fingers and outer wrist stay reinforced.
The trade-off for that freedom is coverage. The short cuff reinforces the outer wrist but leaves more of the forearm to your jacket sleeve than a full length racing cuff, so it suits riders who want an agile, precise feel on every ride with more airflow.
Key features
- Certified protection: EN 13594:2015 Level 1 KP
- SyntechSkin upper: adds structure and abrasion resistance without the bulk of an all leather shell
- Full grain goatskin palm: keeps the contact area supple for detailed lever feel
- External finger seams and stretch comfort folds: reduce pressure around the fingertips and support easy finger movement
- AirGO PROTECH knuckle shell: combines a rigid outer layer with a soft, ventilated honeycomb structure beneath it
- Honeycomb TPU metacarpal protection: adds reinforcement across the upper back of the hand
- Palm slider: an ERGO PROTECH honeycomb shell on the heel of the hand, designed to slide across the road surface instead of gripping or catching it if you put your hand down in a slide
- Palm padding: 3 mm foam reinforcement at the heel of the hand
- Finger protection: 3 mm foam on the ring and little fingers, with ventilated TPU on the index and middle fingers
- TPR Cuff Slider: reinforces the outer wrist

- Hi-Res Grip palm reinforcement: supports a secure, precise hold on the controls
- Index finger and thumb touchscreen control: lets you use a smartphone or GPS when stopped, including pinch and zoom
- Short cuff with Velcro closure: a heat sealed nylon Velcro tab secures the glove at the wrist with less bulk around the sleeve

The SF1 EVO suits riders who want a compact short cuff and a close performance feel on sport bikes, roadsters and supermotos. Take a look at the RFX2 EVO if you want a full length cuff with more extensive wrist and forearm coverage. The Stunt EVO2 offers a lighter, textile backed street alternative.
Who is the FIVE SF1 EVO for?
It suits riders who want a close performance fit and strong reinforcement in a short cuff glove for roadsters, sport bikes and supermoto.
How does it differ from the RFX2 EVO?
The SF1 EVO uses a short cuff for less bulk around the sleeve. The RFX2 EVO uses a full length cuff and adds more extensive wrist and lower forearm coverage.
Is it certified?
Yes. It is certified to EN 13594:2015 Level 1 KP.
Can I use a touchscreen?
Yes. The index finger and thumb operate a smartphone or GPS when stopped, so you can pinch and zoom without removing the gloves.
What does the palm slider do?
The ERGO PROTECH shell on the heel of the hand is designed to slide across the road surface if you put your hand down in a fall, instead of the palm gripping or catching the ground.
