How to measure: Chest: around the widest point, keeping the tape horizontal. Waist: around the narrowest point of the abdomen. Sleeve: from the shoulder to the wrist. Some Acerbis products, such as off-road jerseys, are cut to fit over body armour.

Longer touring coverage with mesh airflow
On longer rides and weekend trips, a short jacket can ride up and leave a gap above your trousers. The Ramsey Vented Long uses a longer cut with large reinforced mesh panels in a 450D polyester main fabric, so you get more coverage around the hips while air keeps moving through the jacket in heat and humidity.
The jacket is certified to EN 17092-3:2020 Class AA and includes EN 1621-1:2012 Type A Level 1 shoulder and elbow armour. Buttons at the arms and wrists, a waist buckle and a hip drawstring help the longer cut sit close, a microfleece collar is softer against your neck, and reflective inserts at the front, sides and back help other road users see you in low light. On hot days, it lets you cover longer distances in certified gear that stays comfortable to wear.
We recommend adding the Acerbis D3O Viper Air FB Level 2 Back Protector, sold separately. It adds certified full back impact protection alongside the included shoulder and elbow armour.

The Ramsey Vented Long is a longer Class AA mesh touring jacket, with extra adjustment and reflective details all round. Take a look at the Ramsey Vented 2.0 if you prefer a standard length mesh jacket for everyday riding. If you want a more casual look with rain protection included, the Gordon adds a detachable waterproof membrane and Level 2 shoulder and elbow armour, with a Class A garment rating.
Is the Ramsey Vented Long suited to touring in heat and humidity?
Yes. Large reinforced mesh panels keep air moving through the jacket, and the longer cut adds coverage around the hips on longer rides.
What armour is included?
EN 1621-1:2012 Type A Level 1 armour is included at the shoulders and elbows. A back protector is not included.
Can I add a back protector?
Yes. The Acerbis D3O Viper Air FB Level 2 Back Protector fits this jacket and is sold separately. We recommend adding it for certified full back impact protection alongside the included shoulder and elbow armour. Protector size M suits jacket sizes S, M and L, and size L suits jacket size XL.
Is it waterproof?
No. It is a ventilated mesh jacket built for airflow. For sudden rain, the Acerbis Micropak Rain Jacket packs small and goes over the top.
Does it have reflective details?
Yes. Reflective inserts at the front, sides and back help other road users see you in low light.
What is the jacket made from?
It has a 450D polyester main fabric with reinforced mesh panels, a mesh lining and a microfleece collar lining.
