How to measure: Chest: around the widest point, keeping the tape horizontal. Waist: around the narrowest point of the abdomen. Sleeve: from the shoulder to the wrist. Some Acerbis products, such as off-road jerseys, are cut to fit over body armour.

Mesh airflow with Class AA protection for hot, humid rides
Riding through heat, humidity and slow traffic, a closed textile jacket can leave you overheated long before you arrive. The Ramsey Vented 2.0 is built around extensive tear and abrasion resistant mesh panels that let air move through the jacket, and the garment is certified to EN 17092-3:2020 Class AA, so you get that airflow without giving up a recognised protection rating.
Level 1 shoulder and elbow armour certified to EN 1621-1:2012 is included. Adjusters at the wrists, sleeves and hem help the jacket sit closer so the armour stays in position, and a microfleece inner collar is softer against your neck. On hot days, it lets you commute and ride at weekends in certified gear that stays comfortable to wear.
We recommend adding the Acerbis D3O Viper Air FB Level 2 Back Protector, sold separately. It adds certified full back impact protection alongside the included shoulder and elbow armour.

The Ramsey Vented 2.0 is a standard length Class AA mesh jacket built around airflow for everyday riding. Take a look at the Ramsey Vented Long if you want a longer touring cut with extra waist and hip adjustment and reflective details at the front, sides and back. If you want a more casual look with rain protection included, the Gordon adds a detachable waterproof membrane and Level 2 shoulder and elbow armour, with a Class A garment rating.
Is the Ramsey Vented 2.0 suited to heat and humidity?
Yes. Extensive mesh panels let air move through the jacket, so it is easier to wear in slow traffic and on hot, humid days than a closed textile jacket.
What does Class AA mean?
It is a garment class in the EN 17092 standard for motorcycle clothing. More As means higher requirements for abrasion resistance, tear strength and seam strength, and Class AA sits above Class A. This jacket is certified to EN 17092-3:2020 Class AA.
What armour is included?
Level 1 shoulder and elbow armour certified to EN 1621-1:2012 is included. A back protector is not included.
Can I add a back protector?
Yes. The Acerbis D3O Viper Air FB Level 2 Back Protector fits this jacket and is sold separately. We recommend adding it for certified full back impact protection alongside the included shoulder and elbow armour. Protector size M suits jacket sizes S, M and L, and size L suits jacket sizes XL and XXL.
Is it waterproof?
No. It is a ventilated mesh jacket built for airflow. For sudden rain, the Acerbis Micropak Rain Jacket packs small and goes over the top.
What is the jacket made from?
It has a 450D polyester main fabric with tear and abrasion resistant mesh panels, a mesh lining and a microfleece inner collar.
