Clean brake components without leaving residue
When you clean your brakes, you need to remove contamination without leaving an oily film behind. Muc-Off Motorcycle Disc Brake Cleaner lifts brake dust, oil and grime from pads, rotors and other braking components, then evaporates to leave a residue free finish.
Its acetone free formula is compatible with rubber, plastic and carbon fibre. It also treats pads and rotors to help reduce contamination-related squeal, giving you a focused cleaner for brake maintenance rather than a general-purpose degreaser.
Key features
- Fast evaporating formula: cleans brake components without leaving a residue behind
- Targeted cleaning: removes brake dust, oil, grease, brake fluid and grime from brake parts
- Material compatibility: suitable for rubber, plastic and carbon fibre components
- Pad and rotor treatment: helps reduce brake squeal linked to surface contamination
How to use
- Let the brake components cool fully and work in a well ventilated area.
- Shake the can vigorously, then apply to the brake area so the pads and discs are treated.
- Allow the cleaner to evaporate and wipe away any excess with a clean, dry cloth.
Important: Do not spray onto painted or anodised surfaces. Test non-factory finishes in a small, inconspicuous area first.
Motorcycle Disc Brake Cleaner is for pads, rotors and other braking components that need a residue free finish. For oily deposits on other compatible components, take a look at Motorcycle Bio Degreaser. It is not a substitute for brake cleaner on braking surfaces.
Which materials is the cleaner compatible with?
It is compatible with rubber, plastic and carbon fibre. Keep it off painted and anodised surfaces.
Does it leave a residue?
No. It is formulated to evaporate quickly and leave a residue free finish.
Can it help with brake squeal?
It treats pads and rotors and can help reduce squeal caused by oil, dust or grime contamination. Persistent noise may indicate a mechanical or wear issue that needs inspection.
Can I spray it on painted parts?
No. Keep it off painted and anodised surfaces, and test non-factory finishes in a small hidden area before wider use.
