Waterproof storage for the daily ride
You get 16 litres of waterproof storage for the daily commute with the R16, in a compact, low profile daypack that stays smaller than a touring pack. It carries daily essentials during the week, then a change of clothes or rain layers for a weekend day ride.
Its single roll top main compartment keeps the layout straightforward. A removable white liner makes smaller items easier to find, comes out for cleaning and can be replaced if it is ever damaged. A sudden afternoon downpour on the ride home is less of a worry for your laptop and work clothes.
Key features
- Quadloc Lite harness: transfers load from the shoulders towards the chest and body
- Internal zipped pocket: keeps smaller items separate inside the main compartment
- Air mesh back panel: lets air move between the pack and your riding jacket in heat and humidity
- Removable waist strap: adds stability when the ride calls for it
- 10 year guarantee: covers defects in materials and manufacture

The R16 is a compact, low profile daypack with one 16 litre waterproof roll top compartment and room for a 15 inch laptop. Take a look at the R22 if you carry a 17 inch laptop or want a separate 4 litre front pocket for things you reach for at stops. For weekends away, the R30 steps up to 30 waterproof litres and the larger Quadloc harness, designed to fit over armoured riding gear.
What is it made from?
420D Cordura Lite, 420D nylon Ripstop and Hypalon.
What is it compatible with?
The R16 accommodates a 15 inch laptop and is compatible with a hydration reservoir, a back protector insert, a harness pocket and US-5 or US-10 Drypacks. We recommend checking your laptop’s external dimensions against the pack before ordering.
What guarantee does it come with?
Kriega guarantees it for 10 years against defects in materials and manufacture.
