When a heavy afternoon downpour or a wet run home is part of the journey, you need gloves that keep your hands dry without dulling your feel at the controls. The GT2 EVO WP+ uses a 5 Drytech Control+ waterproof membrane bonded to the palm, which reduces movement between the layers and keeps a more direct feel at the grips and levers than a loose membrane glove.

A SyntechSkin and stretch polyester upper helps rain run off the back of the hand, while the full grain goatskin palm stays supple through long hours in the saddle. Practical touring details include a visor wiper on the left index finger, thumb and index finger touchscreen control and reflective elements on the back of the hand.

This is a wet weather touring choice rather than a glove for maximum airflow in heat and humidity. It makes the most sense when staying dry over a long day matters more than ventilation, so you can keep riding comfortably when the weather turns.

Are the FIVE GT2 EVO WP+ gloves waterproof?

Yes. They use a 5 Drytech Control+ waterproof membrane, bonded to the palm, for wet touring conditions.

Why is the membrane bonded at the palm?

Bonding reduces movement between the membrane and glove, helping preserve a more direct feel when you use the grips and levers.

Can I use a phone or GPS?

Yes. Touchscreen material on the thumb and index finger lets you use a smartphone or GPS when stopped, without removing the gloves.

Are they a good choice for hot, dry days?

They are built for wet weather touring, so a ventilated or mesh glove will give you more airflow on dry days in heat and humidity.
