How to measure: Measure the circumference of your head about 2 cm above the eyebrows, passing just above the ears and around the back of the head. The chart is a guide only: always try the helmet on at home and check the fit.
Head shape matters too. Helmets are shaped for round, intermediate or long oval heads, so a helmet in your size can still press on the forehead or feel loose at the sides if the shape is wrong.

Full face coverage with convenient sun control
If you want full face coverage without changing visors whenever the light gets brighter, the HJC C71 adds an integrated sun visor behind its clear main visor. Its ECE 22.06-approved polycarbonate composite shell and everyday features suit commuting, sport touring and weekend road rides.
The HJ-34P main visor has an anti scratch coating, provides 99% UV protection and is compatible with a Pinlock 70 insert, sold separately. The visor mechanism makes removal and refitting straightforward, while the internal sun visor gives you a separate way to manage bright conditions.
ACS ventilation channels air from front to back to help carry heat and humidity out. The moisture-wicking, quick-drying interior has removable, washable crown and cheek pads, while speaker pockets provide space for a compatible intercom setup. Together, these details make the helmet practical to use and look after on regular rides.

Take a look at the HJC C10 if you want a simpler full face helmet without an integrated sun visor. Both use an HJ-34P main visor compatible with a Pinlock 70 insert, sold separately, along with washable padding and provision for a suitable aftermarket Bluetooth system.
For the convenience of opening the front at a stop, take a look at the Nolan N120-1. Its chin bar rotates behind the shell, unlike the C71’s fixed full face design.
Does the HJC C71 have an integrated sun visor?
Yes. An internal HJ-V12 sun visor sits behind the clear HJ-34P main visor.
Is a Pinlock insert included?
No. The HJ-34P main visor is compatible with a Pinlock 70 insert, sold separately.
Can the interior be removed for washing?
Yes. The crown liner and cheek pads are removable and washable.
Which communication systems fit?
A suitable aftermarket Bluetooth system can be fitted. Match the speaker size and mounting method to the helmet before buying a unit. Compatibility does not mean that an intercom is included.
