Add Level 2 full back protection to your jacket
The Acerbis Ramsey Vented 2.0, Ramsey Vented Long and Gordon jackets come with shoulder and elbow armour and a pocket for a back protector that you add separately. The Acerbis D3O Viper Air FB fills that pocket with EN 1621-2:2014 Type FB Level 2 back protection, and it fits all three in size M or L to match your jacket.
Type FB means it covers the full back rather than the central spine area alone, and Level 2 is the higher of the two performance levels in EN 1621-2. The D3O material stays flexible as you move and stiffens on impact, so your jacket gives you certified protection across the back as well as at the shoulders and elbows.
We recommend adding it to your Ramsey Vented 2.0, Ramsey Vented Long or Gordon for certified full back impact protection alongside the included shoulder and elbow armour.

The D3O Viper Air FB Level 2 adds full back protection to the Acerbis Ramsey Vented 2.0, Ramsey Vented Long and Gordon jackets, in size M or L. Take a look at the D3O Level 1 Shoulder and Elbow Protectors if you also want to replace the armour at those key impact points.
Will it fit my jacket?
It fits the Acerbis Ramsey Vented 2.0, Ramsey Vented Long and Gordon jackets. It does not fit the Ramsey Vented 2.0 Women’s Jacket.
Which size do I need?
Size M suits jacket sizes S, M and L, and size L suits jacket sizes XL and XXL.
What does Type FB mean?
It identifies a full back protector, with a wider certified coverage area than a central back protector.
What does Level 2 mean?
Level 2 is the higher of the two impact performance levels in EN 1621-2.
Can I wear it on its own?
No. It is back armour designed to sit in the back protector pocket of a compatible motorcycle jacket.
What is included?
One full back protector. The jacket is sold separately.
What is the protector made from?
It is made from 100% polyurethane D3O material.
